BEAUTIFUL HAND-REARED LOVEBIRD BABIES!

Thank you for visiting my website.

I have been hopelessly devoted to breeding lovebirds for the past nine years. I live near Exeter in Devon and specialise in hand-rearing these beautiful little birds.

I can truly say that hand-reared lovebirds make excellent tame and rewardable pets, although they do need much of your time to remain this way.

Lovebirds are very active little birds with BIG parrot personalities. They are very loveable and affectionate but if not raised with nurturing guidance can become 'little terrors.' Their activity level is somewhere between a budgie and a cockatiel.

Affectionate and intelligent, Lovebirds can be taught to give kisses, step-up, wave a foot, and many other tricks. As with most hook bills, Lovebirds also have the ability to learn to whistle and talk. They can speak with clarity and will respond to your voice with eager enthusiasm. I love to watch their busy daily antics and are intrigued by their different personalities.

I have been breeding and caring for lovebirds for the past 9 years and as you can imagine, there is no money to be made in hand-rearing this breed, especially if you keep them in pristine conditions and are dedicated to the best care possible. Almost all other parrot breeders we have come across think I am barking mad breeding these little guys!

Sue now assists me with rearing the babies. I got to know Sue after she purchased a pair of my hand-reared lovebirds a few years ago. Sue has now become equally devoted as I am to these wonderful little birds and enjoys raising the chicks ready for their new owners.
